Phil Zimmerman

Phil Zimmerman joined Newton Oil in 2022, bringing a wealth of experience to his current role as Sales Manager. He dedicated his initial decade to AgBest Co-op in Muncie, IN, primarily focusing on the agricultural division. During this time, he closely collaborated with the fuel division on various projects. His career then took him to manage a retail, farm equipment, and parts store, Fertilizer Dealer Supply, in Brookston, IN, for 7 1/2 years. After this, Phil worked on special projects with North Central Co-op in Wabash for a year.

Significant achievements mark Phil's professional journey. After his tenure at AgBest Co-op, he ventured into the world of agricultural software startups for four years. He then took on a challenging role at Murray Equipment in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where he managed a 5-state territory. This role, which involved specializing in the sale of liquid flow controls and automation to retail agricultural companies, showcased his leadership and sales skills. Phil has been with Newton Oil for 18 months, where he continues to bring his extensive knowledge and expertise to the field.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Phil is no stranger to community involvement. He has dedicated six years to the Agribusiness Council of Indiana's board of directors and is now serving on the IFFA board. In his leisure time, he enjoys camping, fishing, traveling, and indulging in his passion for cooking.
